Our team is focused on quality, consistency, and doing simple things well with all of our menu items made from scratch on a daily basis. 

You’ll be working directly with the owners as well as an established front of house and back of house. We value professionalism, accountability, and people who can take ownership of their work. Cafe Mornings - FOH w/ Housing

Looking for early birds! Hours: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM | Thursday–Monday

We’re looking for a Front of House team member to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be working the coffee bar, taking orders and the many other front of house oriented roles that help the team keep the cafe running.

If you’ve ever wanted to move to the beautiful Catskills this may be your chance! We’re offering heavily subsidized staff housing for the right candidate. (Think a beautiful private 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with a separate living and dining area) 

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Creating a welcoming, warm and consistent guest experience

  • Opening the café and running morning service independently

  • Executing drinks and food consistently and efficiently

  • Managing the flow of service during slow and moderate rushes

  • Keeping the bar, prep areas, and front-of-house organized and clean and upholding food safety standards 

  • Following established checklists and systems autonomously 

  • Communicating clearly with ownership and team members
    Coordinating inventory with the rest of the team 

  • Contributing to our calm, professional, respectful workplace culture

Experience

  • Barista experience preferred but not required (willing to train the right candidate)

  • Excellent social, communication and people skills

  • Toast POS Systems preferred but not required

  • Ability to lead by example

  • We care more about competence, judgment, and reliability than years on paper
